Rose gold ring with an aquamarine-green prasiolite in a rectangular cut, complemented by 6 London Blue topaz side stones in a deep cobalt blue

The Steps model is inspired by the Chrysler Building skyscraper in New York, a symbol of Art Deco style. In this rose gold ring, the delicate galleries that support the central stone have the same triangular design as the top of the emblematic building, as well as its stepped structure.

*We make one piece per model of the Cocktail rings. Once sold, they are made to order.

Materials

18 carat rose gold. Fantasy rectangular cut 12 carat central aquamarine-green prasolite. Six 7mm x 5mm London Blue octagonal cut topazes.

Inspiration

The decade that began in 1920 marked a significant cultural and lifestyle shift. With the arrival of Prohibition and the entry of women into the workforce, everything changed.

In many countries, women celebrated their newly acquired right to vote and were unapologetic about expressing loudly and clearly that they were present and powerful. The trend of cocktail rings emerged alongside these charismatic, provocative, and electrifying women, who wore these lavish rings with extra-large stones at speakeasies, dressed in their most glamorous attire, showing off their legs and sporting short hair.

The Steps ring is markedly Art Deco. The contemporary touch is achieved with the use of stones. The stones of an intense aquamarine-green and deep cobalt blue, achieve a contrast of tones that enhances the volumes of the piece.
